From John Burns
To Burns Customers and Supporters

Unfortunately, the price of Burns products is set to increase from February 1st 2017. This is the first price rise we have had for three years. This is a direct consequence of last June’s Brexit vote which led to a sharp fall in the value of the pound against the euro and the dollar. We have not been able to avoid the effects of that. Prices are rising across many sectors and I expect many other pet foods will be similarly affected. Even after this rise, Burns still offers good value for money. In December 2016, I surveyed nearly 1000 other dog foods and found that even with a price rise, the daily feeding cost of Burns was less than 80% of the foods in the survey. I have just prepared new brochures on Daily Feeding Costs and on Daily Feeding Amounts. These can help to get the best from Burns, both in terms of health and value for money. These can be downloaded from the website and will soon be available in print form from Burns. For advice please contact the Burns Nutrition team
