Rabbits should be offered fresh vegetables every day. New vegetables should be weaned in gradually to avoid digestive upset.
The Rabbit Welfare Fund (RWA) recommends one and a half to two and a half cups of fresh vegetables per day.
Fruit should be given as a treat only. 1-2 spoonfuls per day is acceptable. Too much fruit may lead to obesity and dental disease.
