Crufts has a new sponsor. No, it is not Burns; I hear that DFS the sofa people are taking over. Does this mean that everything will be half price?
I mistakenly thought that “Raw Meaty Bones” and “BARF” were two different titles for the same movement which advocated a raw food diet for dogs. It seems not. A correspondent has corrected me. It seems that they have virulently opposed views. It reminds me of the film “Life of Brian”. Do you remember the difference between the Judean People’s Front and the People’s Front of Judea?
The RSPCA magazine Animal Life has refused to run our advert in which we say that Burns can be an alternative to Veterinary and Prescription diets. The reason given is that the RSPCA does not recommend pet owners use an alternative if a vet has recommended a prescription food. They don’t say why. Veterinary/ Prescription diets are not medicines and by law cannot be recommended for the treatment or prevention of disease.
